Q: What was it like being a woman and competing against men in the 1960's?
A: "I didn't really pay much attention to who was sitting in the lane next to me just because I love the sport."
Q: What made you want to race and begin a career of racing?
A: "It was the fact that in high school me and a group of my friends would go to the race track and watch everyone race, just something about the sport made me love it."
Q: Who inspired you the most during your career?
A: " John Dunlap tought me most everything I know and helped me with my car. He is still a good friend of mine to this day."
Q: How do you think the other racers felt about you?
A: "There were a couple guys that naturally didn't like the fact that I was there and gave me a rough time, most of the other people in my class helped me with racing or my car as much as they could."
